  • To answer this question, it’s probably best I share with you a defining moment that brought me to where I am today.
Growing up, I was fortunate to have parents and siblings that modeled good health and fitness practices. I too, loved everything about being healthy and fit, so at a young age, it was natural for me to become a personal health fitness trainer. However, what I call “my defining moment” came at a most unexpected time. My brother was diagnosed with an advanced stage of breast cancer, and within 9 months he was gone from us. During that sad time, I had my own fitness business which gave me the freedom to be with my brother before he passed. These were precious moments. His illness and death shook me to the core because we were very close for many reasons, one being, we were only eleven months apart. Vinnie was thirty-two when he died, I was just thirty-three.

    As you can imagine this was also overwhelming to the whole family, particularly my parents. Thankfully the faith foundation they laid while growing up helped us all get through this devastating loss. During this time and after Vinnie’s death, I began to garden. It was a new past time, because after seeing clients all day, I could be alone, in solitude, working my way through the grieving process. It helped me to mourn him and yet at the same time, it helped me to heal in a very special and nourishing way. I would just go to my yard and immerse myself in the earth and soil. It was in these hours that the greatest gift was given to me. The defining moment so to speak. Because of the loss, and then the hard work of healing, there came a beautiful bloom every single season thereafter, a wonderful reminder there will always be a light which will give me great strength and joy. Thereafter, meditation and mindfulness strategies became my daily therapy. In this quiet reflection time, I found the strength to respond to my brother’s death and other unexpected life challenges and tragedies in a way that tapped into my spiritual wellbeing. Yoga and journaling became the rituals I practice to this day.

I believe that because of my life experiences, I was drawn to learn and achieve a higher level of understanding of my work so that I could support and coach women who also wanted control of their personal well-being. We all know it is easier to accomplish something if you have a support system. Personal and group coaching is that support system, however, it is in the deep connection with my clients where I have been privileged to watch women cultivate self-love, self-compassion and inner peace. In doing so they can move forward to live healthy, vibrant lives. So out of my losses and challenges in life, came personal growth and now my commitment to women through my Renew Your Health business and Get your Health Back Now Transformational Coaching Program.

  • My clients are mostly women 35 years or older looking to achieve overall good health, but I can coach anyone. I also coach women with physical limitations who need the same guided wellness program.

  • There is no cookie cutter approach. I coach you individually based on your current lifestyle needs with a careful assessment of where you want to be in your life as it relates to your personal overall health and wellbeing. Doing the inner work necessary, is part of my coaching system You will learn there are four energy systems within you and we will tap into each one to help you achieve your desired health goal.

  • No need to be concerned, if you follow the steps laid out for you and do the work. It is a process made up of step by step lifestyle changes. It typically takes 12 weeks to change old habits. As your Transformational Health Coach, I will always be truthful about your progress and what is holding you back in order to get you back on track. We will celebrate your wins! We will walk this path together.

  • I work best with people who are willing to do the necessary steps, listen to me as their health coach and have a positive attitude about the work we are doing. You definitely need to be committed to your success throughout the 12 weeks.

  • It will not work if you are unwilling to do the necessary steps and/or have a negative attitude, making excuses and challenging every aspect of the program. It is not for you if you are experiencing financial difficulty. It is an investment in your wellbeing. You are worth it but it cannot be a burden.

  • Yes! Having gone through the steps myself, applying them daily, it surely does. The result of our work together is an approach to you shifting your mindset and creating new habits that will last a lifetime so you feel good about yourself with as much energy and vitality as possible, less stress and more peace of mind.   • That depends on how quickly you can make the necessary mind shifts, willing to do the daily work. I will be with you but it is up to you to do the daily steps required. One day at a time.

  • Do all of the work required and be totally committed to your success. Understand this is a process, patience, commitment and listening to your coach are key elements to your success.
